Allergy Friendly Friday

This is the first Allergy-Friendly Friday post of the new year. I don’t know about you, but I need to revamp my diet a bit after way too much celebratory eating and drinking.  I don’t really fit into my pants right now.  At least not my muffin top.  Tomorrow, I go back to Los Angeles, and I am promising myself a little healthy restraint.  Can you help me out by posting your lightest, healthiest, most diet-friendly allergy-free and gluten-free recipes?  I would be so grateful!

Allergy-Friendly recipe highlights from last week’s Allergy-Friendly Friday roundup were

Please add your allery-free and/or gluten-free recipe links to Allergy-Friendly Friday. PLEASE remember you have to link back from your post, for me to feature your recipe. That means link WITH A HYPERLINK THAT LINKS BACK HERE. When you link back to this post,  you can share both your own and other’s fabulous allergy-friendly recipes. Am I repeating myself? 🙂 And remember, I specialize in creating gluten-free recipes that are free of the top 8 food allergens, but yours don’t have to be. They just have to be allergy-friendly in SOME way.

ALLERGY-FRIENDLY FRIDAY LINK GUIDELINES:  PLEASE READ!

  • Please add only ONE post per blog.
  • Please LINK back to this post so that your readers can find ALL the recipes linked to here. This is a sharing page.
  • Link to your individual recipe post, NOT your homepage.
  • Recipes DO NOT have to be completely allergen-free, just ALLERGY-FRIENDLY in some way.
  • When you link, let us know who you are. For example, I might add  old fashioned gingersnaps (cybele @cybelepascal.com)

Thank you for highlighting the Christmas Sundae! This week a much needed warm salad recipe to start the New Year! Black Bean and Roasted Vegetable Salad! I hope you will be able to try this. Have a lovely week and thank you for hosting! I look forward to coming back this weekend to look at the other posts linked here!

  2. Here is the link to my favorite recipe that is free of the Big 8 allergens–quinoa with corn and zucchini:

…What’s nice is that is works great as a chilled picnic food in the summers, and equally well as a warm comfort food in the winters. As someone who is allergic to dairy, egg, and a lot of tree nuts–and for that matter, as someone with vegetarians in the family–it is nice to have a dish I can bring to almost any dinner party and know it will suit.

What a great idea for a recipe share. Enjoy, and Happy New Year!

    Cheers,
    Sandra

  12. I haven’t shared a recipe in a while, but I’m back with an Almost Raw Black & Tan Cupcake. Sorry – no alcohol 😉 They’re naturally gluten-free, and all of my recipes are vegan, so they’re egg and dairy free. They are also free of added oils and refined sugars.

  14. Hi! I’m glad to have found your site! Our family is on the GAPS diet, before that we were already dealing with celiac and a corn allergy, so of course we’re extra careful about those kinds of ingredients!

This week I posted our chestnut stuffing – a true miracle of traditional cooking and real food. It doesn’t have any kind of bready substitute, but it DOES have texture. I hope you enjoy it!

  15. Thanks! I can provide you some gluten free articles. Please feel free to get in touch with me anytime 🙂 Have a nice day.
