These are delicious! They remind me of the Divvies new chocolate cookies that my son eats. My daughter is in heaven having her own. They are so good when they are still warm out of the oven! (It’s just too hard to wait for them to cool down) Thank you for all your incredible recipes. I have so many non-GF/allergy friends and family that can’t believe that they are eating GF and allergy friendly food. My son who CAN have wheat now requests his sister’s cookies and cakes. That is a compliment from an 8 year old!

While I haven’t made these cookies yet, I highly recommend that you get her Allergen-Free Baker’s Handbook. It is the first book I found that not only takes gluten intolerance into consideration, but many of the other food allergies as well. The chocolate cake recipe is the best cake I have ever had even prior to being diagnosed with gluten intolerance and it needs no eggs!!! As far as I am concerned this is my go to baking Bible. Even my friends who can eat anything love my baked goods.

    Hi Jenine:

Thanks for the feedback. Yes, I did think the Divvies cookies were similar to mine when I first tasted them too. I like this recipe right out of the oven too, when the chocolate chunks are still melted! Please tell your son thank you for me!

    all best,

    Cybele
