It’s been awhile since I’ve shared this video, but it’s one of my favorites, so I’m sharing it again for all my new subscribers (hi!) who didn’t get a chance to see it when I first posted it over a year ago! This simple gluten-free vegan scone recipe is easy to whip up, but will really impress your friends and family, and wow your taste buds. It’s a perfect breakfast or tea time treat for these cold winter days. Enjoy, and let me know what type of breakfast you like best, so I can start brainstorming recipes for you!  And coming next post…. a review and giveaway of Jules E. Dowler Shepard’s new book “Free For All Cooking“! Stay tuned….

Thanks, your scone recipe is wonderful, we all enjoy them! I would love to see some sort of pastry or biscuit stuffed with meat, veggies, allergen free cheese, etc. My mom has made these before with puffed pastry in a cupcake pan then put eggs, etc on top and baked. Really easy and tasty, but with my sons vast array of allergies we obviously need to come up with an alternative approach. Thanks!

  2. Hi Becky:

SO thrilled to hear you enjoy this recipe. Okay, recipe request duly noted! Thanks for comment. I will enjoy coming up with that one! Yum.

Hello again, Mrs. Pascal! I have another query: I’m using your Garfava/sorghum/tapioca/arrowroot mixture in place of your basic gluten-free flour mix because I’m allergic to rice and potatoes. So far, this is working wonderfully. However, I want to try your Double Flaky Pie Crust recipe, which calls for sweet rice flour. Do you know if that could be substituted somehow? Thank you for your time, and please feel free to tell me if I’m asking too many questions!

  11. Dear Anna:

Forgive my incredibly delayed reply. You can just go ahead and use the flour mix I gave you for all the flour called for in the recipe.

    all best,

    Cybele
