Allergy Friendly Friday 12/28/12
I’m feeling a wee bit cranky this morning, as the garbage trucks woke me up at 4:30. I call them urban whales. Or elephants. They really do moan and groan and make a God awful racket. Meanwhile, everyone else in my house was slumbering peacefully. In fact, they’re all still asleep, and it’s almost 10 PST!
What should I make these sleeping beauties for breakfast? How about my Allergy-Friendly Pancakes?

Hi Cybele.
Thanks so much for featuring my top 8 free Chocolate Peppermint Candy Cane Cake Pops this week!!
Sorry to hear you didn’t get much sleep last night. That’s me every morning, as my 1-year old still thinks it’s a good idea to wake for the day by 5 am (it’s super painful on weekends).
Happy New Year to you and your family – with a bit of rest!

Okay, I have a stupid question for you. What exactly counts as allergy-friendly? Are there certain ingredients that the recipes need to avoid, or can it just fit into a category like vegan or gluten-free?
Thanks!
Not a stupid question at all! Allergy-Friendly means free of the top 8 allergens, which are dairy, soy, eggs, wheat, peanuts, tree nuts, fish, and shellfish.
